Tasman Street

An artfully renovated home for a passionate chef and lover of beautiful things. Creating a space for a variety of uses was the key here to provide ample work surfaces but also an adaptable entertainment space.

Plywood cabinetry with black fronts add depth and the green tiled splash back links the garden which makes the spaces feel like one.

Tasmanian Blackwood was the perfect choice for the Island top. The rich colours and distinctive grain work so well with the textured green tiles.

Open shelving is a nice way to display treasured items and to put everyday essentials within easy reach.

Having the island on lockable castors means it becomes multi-functional. Easily located to accomodate extra work space, open up the room or to serve drinks from when entertaining.
